Celebrating the Splendor of the "Zdravko Banar" Folklore Festival 2023

Greetings from the picturesque city of Ohrid in Macedonia! The echoes of joyous melodies and captivating dance performances from the "Zdravko Banar" Folklore Festival still resonate in the air. From August 19th to August 24rd, we had the privilege of immersing ourselves in a cultural extravaganza that celebrated our rich traditions and heritage.

A Tapestry of Music and Dance:

For five enchanting days, the essence of our cultural legacy was woven into the fabric of every dance, every song, and every rhythm. The "Zdravko Banar" Folklore Festival became a living canvas upon which the vibrant colors of tradition were painted, leaving a profound impact on all who witnessed it.

Celebrating Diversity:

With great honor, we welcomed an array of 20 distinguished groups, each representing the cultural tapestries of their homelands. Among them, the radiant ensemble "Zespół Pieśni i Tańca Łódź" from Poland shone like a guiding star. Led by the talented Director Beata Stelmach, they brought the spirit of Poland to our stage, infusing our festival with their unique essence.

From Poland with Love:

"Zespół Pieśni i Tańca Łódź" mesmerized the audience with their graceful choreographies and soul-stirring melodies. Their performances were a testament to the power of art to transcend boundaries and unite us through shared emotions. Poland's cultural treasures were unveiled before our eyes, creating a bridge of understanding and appreciation.

A Heartfelt Tribute:

Unfortunately, our dear friend, the former director of this wonderful Polish ensemble, Danuta Ciechanska, could not attend this time. But this group was fascinating and made us immediately want to meet again and look forward to it as soon as possible. The group was fascinating and full of cheerfulness and smiles.

We cannot name the whole group, but we would like to welcome the wonderful Jakub Stelmach, Julia Kowalska, Katarzyna Pyrzanowska, Malgorzata Wozniak, Mateusz Zajaczkowski, Filip Binkowski, Marcin Zagorzelski, Paulina Getler, Zuzanna Sudnik, and all the rest.
